The 53rd Paris Air Show is considered the world's largest aerospace event. Experts from the aerospace and telecommunications industries, including manufacturers and suppliers meet every two years. With more than 2,450 companies attending, it is an opportunity for discussions and the signing of contracts. The order volume in 2019 was over 140 billion dollars. eFactory was presented at the partner (HAW) booth.
Event Impact
The event has a strong international dimension with the presence of over 300 official delegations, visits from the French President and members of the French government. There were a total of around 316 000 visitors and 2700 journalists. Owing to the availability of dissemination material (banners and brochures),eFactory attracted a lot of interests where about several technical discussions with aerospace manufacturing experts took place. Participants were interested in the digital manufacturing tools offered by the eFactory platform and how they can make use of these tools to support their small batch production needs.
