The Manufacturing Data Spaces workshop highlighted the role of GAIA-X and other initiatives for data spaces for manufacturing. The speakers at this workshop presented exemplary data spaces that make use of GAIA-X concepts, and how they want to build on the federated services and interoperability standards.
Event Impact
For the development and promotion of EFPF Data Spine, as an enabler of industrial ecosystem, we want to learn from existing mappings as well as from practical, applied use cases. This workshop allowed the project partners to engage in the debate on how infrastructure initiatives such as GAIA-X can help scale embryonic ecosystem as well as operational data spaces to enable the the creation of digital manufacturing ecosystem in Europe.
