Xgility is an innovative SME operating in the digitalisation and enterprise automation domain. The company has worked with a number of high-profile customers on innovations projects focusing on servitisation, automated document management, planning and coordination systems. The sub-project TANGO (inTer orgANisational planninG and cOordination) delivers an intuitive production planning and coordination system for distributed manufacturing and supply chain scenarios. TANGO enables the development of (shared) plans and provides necessary interfaces and APIs to capture reports, IoT data, and information system feeds (through Data Spine) that articulate the plans and coordinate the associated partner activities. The plans can be dynamically updated to mitigate risks and the real-time status of the planned activities can be shared among partners to bring visibility and necessary level of trust in supply chain activities.

The objectives of the sub-project are:

  • To deliver an operational planning system (TANGO) that is validated (both in terms of functional and non-functional aspects) in real-world supply chain scenarios through the involvement of EFPF user partners

  • To enable companies to design collaborative plans and share real-time status of planned activities within security and privacy constraints

  • To integrate the developed system in the EFPF federation and offer through EFPF Portal for wider reach and recognition

  • To develop innovative business models that support the exploitation of TANGO towards different types of users/customer

  • To introduce TANGO in the target market (manufacturing SMEs) by taking advantage of the EFPF dissemination and communication activities

To find more information about the TANGO project, the presentation slides can be downloaded here, and seen to the right. Alongside this, the Open Call Story, and Exhibition Pitch videos can be seen below.
