This sub-project called ExtraCash will develop a solution supporting lot-size-one manufacturers in getting near real time insights into their production schedule and helping them to expose the order status, production capacity and machines capabilities to their existing and future customers. The solution will be cloud-based with web-app deeply embedded in the EFPF framework and offered via the EFPF marketplace.

Successful implementation of the ExtraCash project will allow us to develop the software to the final proof of concept stage, give us access to the state-of-the-art technologies in the field off Industry 4.0 without having to reinvent the wheel, validating our solution in close-to-industrial setting with an end user and polishing the business model to be ready for the final development and commercialization. Specifically, the sub-project will achieve the following:

• Software components for exposing the production status, capacities and capabilities of a manufacturing company developed and tested in near-industrial settings. This will prepare ground for future development and marketization of the developed technology.

• Validation of our technological and business assumptions – both in terms of the usability of the developed features and the market response to the proposed solution. Those insights will help us in fine-tuning the functionality of the software and potentially adjusting our business model (e.g. the licensing schemes or foreseen fees). Moreover, validation of such a proof of concept will support our financing acquisitions.

• Access to the well-established innovation ecosystem of EFPF – by participating in the project events and dissemination activities we will establish a number of contacts with companies and RTOs from across Europe, which will further facilitate our plan to become a company offering innovative, knowledge-based solutions.​
