Sub-projects to improve the EFPF ecosystem by connecting multiple stakeholders through innovative solutions
eXist is an open and distributed platform fully developed and owned by Capgemini that combines IoT, AI, Edge Computing, 5G and Extended Reality (XR) that can lead to the creation of smart augmented and immersive workspaces in factories through the possibilities of remote support and digital guidance in real time. This project aims to integrate eXist within the EFPF ecosystem as a federated platform to contribute with the creation of smart and connected factories.

The main objective of the project is to carry out an integration between eXist and EFPF platform, providing new EFPF federated services. Once integrated, the new platform will be able to:

Have access, through the EFPF Data Spine, to advanced analytics services and secure data storage, functionalities currently not available in its infrastructure

Complement the services offered by EFPF, focusing on providing digital assistance and guidance to shopfloor workers by means of advanced HMI and extended Reality

Join an ecosystem of ICT developers and industrial companies, creating synergies with both tech partners and industrial validators.
